Robert L. Peak Jr., the oldest of three children born to his parents, Robert Peak Sr. (now deceased) and Rebecca Peak, made his entrance to life on May 26, 1960 in Tallahassee, Florida. At the age of ten, his family moved to St. Petersburg.

Robert married Katrina Peak, where between their union they share three children, and five grandchildren.

Robert education includes a GED from Job Corps of America in Frenchburg, Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts, Theology and a Minor in Social Science at American Baptist College Nashville, Tennessee.

Robert was baptized at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in 1984, where he accepted the gift of Salvation under the pastorate of Rev. Joseph Gordon.

In June 1994, Robert acknowledged the call upon his life to the gospel ministry, and on Sunday, August 14, 1994, he preached his first sermon before friends and family at New Hope M.B. Church where he was licensed under the pastorate of Dr. Alvin Moore.

Robert was ordained on September 27, 1998 at Eighth Street M.B. Church in Nashville Tennessee, under the pastorate of Rev. Stephen Barr.

Robert currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary M.B. Church, Volunteer Chaplain at Polk County Correctional Institution, and a Volunteer of the chaplains' office at the Pinellas County Jail where he is a counselor and bible instructor.
